Biden to Send Congress Immigration Reform Bill on First Day

Biden

The Biden transition team has expressed its intention to send a sweeping immigration reform bill to congress for approval on his first day in office.  Unlike recent legislation, this bill will not address border protection a concession given to republicans in the past.  Rather, this immigration reform will focus on paths to citizenship for those who are currently in the United States without legal status.  Sourced cited in the Los Angeles Times stated that the bill will address undocumented essential workers and DACA recipients.  It will also propose an expansion of the DACA program.
